Ragley Hall

An event at Ragley Hall gives you a whole range of choices – elaborate and bold, delicate and breathtaking or eclectic and unusual? Each of the main state rooms has a very different feel, and they can be combined to create a real ‘wow’ for your guests’ experience. Whatever you choose, they are all a blank canvas, ready to provide the perfect backdrop for your own themes and ideas.

The Red Saloon is suitable for up to 60 people in a seated dining setting. Up to 100 can be seated for either a ceremony or presentation and it can be used for drinks or a buffet-style catered party. The Great Hall is a large space, and can easily accommodate up to 180 people for seated dining, or 220 for a presentation or ceremony. You can of course make use of both rooms, using them in whatever combination serves your particular event.

The South Staircase and the Green Drawing Room are both adjacent to The State Rooms, and can be used for a variety of entertaining including drinks receptions and entertainment.

For a full-on party space with dance floor, glitter ball and private bar, you’ll need The Vaulted Hall in your event plan. Due to the delicate nature of some of the plasterwork in the Great Hall, we are unable to allow loud music in the state rooms.

Whichever combination you choose, our maximum is 220 inside The Hall.

Prices for hire are dependent on the spaces you need, and are subject to availability. Since we offer exclusive use, we work hard to manage the diary to ensure that there are no clashes of events, leaving you and your suppliers time to set-up and enjoy your experience uninterrupted. Outdoor Spaces

If you would like to take your event outdoors, we have plenty of space for that too! You can combine an event in the State Rooms with the use of the terraces, gardens and even the parkland and lake that wrap around Ragley Hall.

The iconic staircase at the front of the Palladian Ragley Hall is a popular spot for photographs – anything from couples and family groups to work teams, school groups and even gundogs! Accessed from The Great Hall, it has sweeping views of the Warwickshire countryside.

The drive in front of the hall is a stunning place to create a display for product launch, creating an irresistible backdrop for a press photo!

The West Terrace is a beautiful sunny spot for a garden party or afternoon reception. It can be accessed directly off the Vaulted Hall, making access to a bar and facilities very easy, and caterers can also set up a temporary bar outside. The terrace spreads down onto the formal Rose Garden, with views of West Park beyond.

West Park is one of our biggest spaces, and where we tend to host many of the Park Events on our annual calendar, and can be adapted for almost any use including hot-air balloon flights, fireworks displays, exhibitions and demonstrations.

The smaller park immediately in front of Ragley Hall is known as Polo Field, and is an open, level space, ideal for medium-sized events or parking. Just a short walk away is then the Lakeside area, with access to a toilet block and an informal marquee, large level grassed field and of course, the lake itself.

These are spaces ideal for corporate events, staff away-days and activities, or private festivals and concerts.
